I missed the part where my money ate up my co2. I don't have any choice where I buy my electricity. But I remember when we did. Look at a painting of an old midwest farm, or remember one if you are old enough, and they ALL had windmills to work the well pump, at least. WHO talked them out of repairing or replacing this model of self sufficiency? I am looking for someone to propose small individual wind generators, instead of the huge investments in wind farms that keeps us all connected to a grid that can be brought down with one good ice storm or tornado. Then we can talk about trains (over 400 miles to the gallon) versus trucks (lol,3?) to haul all our goods...
This is a great video, I love how funny and simple it is. Most people believe going green has to be so serious, but this just shows going green can be easy and fun! I have switched to online billing, and I buy the majority of my food and produce locally, which cuts down on all that CO2 emission from the big trucks and planes transporting it! Every week I find something else I can do. Andrew, this video was great and I think there definitely needs to be a part II.
Funny video! I love when people help go Green. I help go green by opting out of my free local papers. You can go to http://www.stopmylocalpaper.org and they will help you opt out.
Terribly funny video Andrew, we adore it here at Carbonfund.org!
Andrew is participating in a marathon and will be running on behalf of Carbonfund.org Please support his efforts and donate to www.Carbonfund.org where you can support renewable energy, energy efficiency and reforestation projects.
Great use of humor to make education easier to understand.
Re: ChemicallyG - Oh brother, where art thou brain? You seem to have good intentions, but are terribly misguided. Carbon offsets, ones that are verified, go to projects that do make a difference. Read this: http://www.carbonfund.org/site/pages/our_projects/category/Verification Or to make it simpler, watch the video again! :)
Cute video, but can you prove that CO2 is caused by Man????
Do you think God didn't know what He was doing when the earth was created. Man and Co2 will not destroy the earth, even though man has tried in vain to do so. I think God knows a lot more about the earth than man and He designed the whole process to include Co2. Want to really help? Then get on the band wagon about the Amazon rain forests being destroyed to grow pals oil, a biodiesel product. You can have the trees and palm oil too. But don't cut down the world rain forests to make biodiesel!!
Carbon credits are nothing but a tax that transfers our dollars to government so they can have more money to waste.
Great idea, great VO (you should do commercials, like that Mac guy!) From now on, I will try not to burn so many effigies, and make sure that a tree grows out my car's butt.
