Green2Cool registration is now open to everyone!

http://www.green2cool.org/

The first prize of €3,000 will go to the member who is the most active and influential in informing other Green2Cool members – and non-members too – about the reasons why excessive meat-eating is not only eco-UNfriendly, it’s also not cool for the planet, not cool for her beautiful inhabitants, and not cool for our health. (And if the animals could sign up, we’re sure they would might have a thing or two to say about it as well.)

For resources, information and useful links relating to eco-eating please visit: www.GreenPlanetAwards.org

We need more schools like that.

I think it's good that we are recycling and are not wasteful, but the temperature in the oceans haven't risen in 9 years. In fact, Hadley, NASA's GISS, UAH, and RSS all show that over the past year, global temperatures have dropped. Do we really need to change for global warming when it's clearly global climate change in both directions.

Former member of the "Longwood Earth Club" and former resident of the "Earth Hall" in the Cunninghams here (circa 1992). Looks like environmental measures have gone mainstream at Longwood...great news!

Wow....what incredible progress in the past decade. I'm surely proud to have been associated with Longwood. And President Patty in a hybrid---That was the best.

I'm sharing with my current colleagues and higher ed students at UConn. It's a wonderful model of both will and skill.
